Our first home together after we became a family in March of 1979.
We were both in the Army band and lived on Am Hang Strasse, in the little village of Sachsen bei Ansbach, GERMANY – we lived in one of the downstairs apartments (the two windows you can see) …
The man pictured in this photo was the father of our landlord, Inge Wiesner. She also had two of these huge Newfoundland dogs. We left Germany for the Washington DC area in June of 1980 …
We hope to go back to visit many places in Germany and Europe soon!
